QUEZON CITY – The Institute for Labor Studies (ILS) Executive Director III Jeanette T. Damo joined tripartite stakeholders during the National Tripartite Industrial Peace Council (NTIPC) where the body endorsed the ratification of ILO Convention No. 155 (Occupational Safety and Health Convention, 1981) on 14 May 2025, at the Ichikawa Hall of the Occupational Safety and Health Center, Diliman, Quezon City.

CLARK, PAMPANGA – The Institute for Labor Studies (ILS) participated in the stakeholders' consultation on the review of the Department of Labor and Employment Department Order (DO) No. 149, Series of 2016 or the “Guidelines in Assessing and Determining Hazardous Work in the Employment of Persons Below 18 Years of Age,” on 25 April 2025.

MAKATI CITY – Institute for Labor Studies (ILS) Senior Labor and Employment Officer Ms. Chelsea Pineda presented the key findings of the ILS research paper titled "Impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on the Labor Market" on 15 April 2025 during the launch of NaviGate, an AI-powered chatbot developed by the Employers Confederation of the Philippines (ECOP) with support from the International Training Centre of the International Labour Organization (ITCILO).
