QUEZON CITY — Mr. Bernard Paul Mangulabnan, Officer-in-Charge and Chief Labor and Employment Officer of the Institute for Labor Studies (ILS) Employment Research Division, discussed the key provisions of the Philippine Green Jobs Act of 2016 and the Department of Labor and Employment’s (DOLE) continuing efforts and initiatives to support green jobs, during an episode of DOLE sa Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Radio on DWDD 1134 kHz AM, aired on 15 July 2025.

BONN, GERMANY – The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), through its Institute for Labor Studies (ILS), joins the Philippine Delegation to the UN Climate Change negotiations held in Bonn, Germany from 16 to 26 June 2025. 

08 July 2025, Marco Polo Hotel Ortigas Manila - The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) formally launched the National Green Jobs Human Resource Development (HRD) Plan 2020–2030 on July 8, 2025, at the Marco Polo Ortigas Manila. The Plan, which is mandated by Republic Act No. 10771 or the Philippine Green Jobs Act of 2016, outlines a strategic vision for preparing the Filipino workforce for the green economy and ensuring a just transition toward sustainable development. 

CALAMBA CITY — The Institute for Labor Studies (ILS) research team successfully concluded its regional fieldwork for its study titled, "Workers' Perspectives on Company Practices in Labor Standards Compliance and Labor-Management Relations." The final leg of data gathering took place at the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Regional Office IV-A in Calamba City, Laguna, from 23 to 25 June 2025.
