MAKATI CITY – The Institute for Labor Studies (ILS) recently participated in the Stakeholder Validation and Consultation Workshop for the drafting of the Labor Migrant Management Plan (LaMMP) 2026–2028, organized by the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) and the International Organization for Migration (IOM). The workshop was held on 20–21 November 2025 at Herald Suites, Chino Roces, Makati City.
QUEZON CITY – The Institute for Labor Studies (ILS) participated in the Second Philippine Energy Transition Dialogue 2025, with the theme Localizing the Energy Transition: Ensuring Energy Security and Resilience through Renewable Development, held on 03 December 2025 at the Novotel Manila, Araneta City, Quezon City.
QUEZON CITY – The Institute for Labor Studies (ILS), the policy research and advocacy arm of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), closes 2025 with strengthened momentum in labor research, policy development, international cooperation, youth engagement, and institutional governance. Upholding its mandate to promote evidence-based policymaking for decent and productive work, the Institute delivered key achievements that advance the Philippine’ commitment of building an inclusive, innovative, and future-ready workforce.
QUEZON CITY – The Institute for Labor Studies (ILS), in partnership with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), officially opened the Walk in Her Shoes Exhibit from 28 November to 02 December 2025 at the ILS Office, MegaONE Building, Quezon City. The launch forms part of ILS’ observance of the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women (VAW), reinforcing the Institute’s continuing advocacy to eliminate violence and harassment in the world of work.
QUEZON CITY – The Institute for Labor Studies (ILS) hosted a policy forum titled, “Silver Economy in Action: Advancing Active Ageing and Employment Opportunities for Senior Citizens” on 12 December 2025 at the ILS Conference Room in Quezon City, with simultaneous live streaming via Zoom and Facebook Live.
